  • So very disapointing

I travelled in by taxi the day after i watched this film, the taxi driver was raving about signs saying how wonderful he thought it was. I'm a fool, i should have taken the train. How could I even waste breath over how wrong he was! The reviews and trailers made this film to look like the alien sci fi flick of the decade, a winner, after all Mel does do good films! But no! The story starts to build up tension and fear but loses just as soon as it finds it. ET sent more fear up my spine than these aliens and the story just took a nose dive at the end. I'm so dispaointed for the director and cast, what could have been a box office hit, was a real flop... please, only consider watching this if you are being paid to do so or you have seen every film ever made ...twice.

  • What happened was good, but it's what didn't happen that would have made it better

This film had a great if not excellent plot to it but the disappointing thing about it is that it had no action or carry on to the plot this is its down fall, it would have made for a better film if there was more, more action, more suspense, more everything.

But well worth a watch, just don't expect much too happen

  • Intriguing Movie

    Rated - 4.5 stars

The underlying theme is of fate - everything happens for a reason - good or bad.

This film has great all round acting and the suspense and build are at steady but intriguing pace.

Some may see the ending as anti-climatic, but I like the fact its isn't too 'Hollywood'...

    Highly recommended

Am i the only person (just read some other reviews) who found this film scarey. It scared me. I actually enjoyed it. Its not bad although really not much really happens. But some nice work from Mel Gibson actingwise.

Signs is a film about faith and coincidence, the story is well written and will keep you on the edge of your seat. Mel Gibson delivers a great performance as usual. I recommend that you watch this film.
