[Highly rated reviewer]
[Highly rated reviewer]mmmm Dodgy remake which basically involves a young girl running screaming through a deserted house (for hours and hours and hours...honestly it feels like forever...)
The orginal version also makes more sense...

A pretty incomplete story with a good twistBy a customer , 20 Dec 2013The beginning of the film REALLY dragged out. To the point where I was considering turning it off. It was completely unclear why she suddenly flew into an uncontainable panic and it didn't seem to be going anywhere. When it got to the scene under the pool table however, things started to become clear. What remained a mystery until the end however was the purpose of the dark haired 'friend' (Sophia I believe her name was). She didn't really give anything to the story. The twist near the end was really good and not one that I saw coming. However, it didn't really make up for the boring build up and incomplete ending.
too painful to watchBy a customer , 09 Nov 2013i cant believe i sat and watched that the acting was drap and the storyline well,,,,,,SO PAINFUL give it a miss
Quite enjoyable if you're in the moodBy abmwinnoch (2 reviews) from Edinburgh , 06 Nov 2013Actually nowhere near as bad as some here have made out. Some folk just like to be over-dramatic about these things ;-) It's not immediately obvious how the things are going to pan out so it's fairly well written in that regard, and many horror film clichés are avoided (but not all... why do people always run down to the cellar in these films; no good is ever going to come from entering a room with only one exit when you're being chased!!). Also a good few jumpy, scary bits, which are effective even when you're expecting them. But the ending is strange and unfulfilling, leaving you looking for the other 10 minutes which would at least have taken in up to a standard 1hour 30 mins running length. In summary i'd say on balance this is worth viewing and deserves a 3-4ish star rating.

Awful acting, awful storyline, awful filmBy AngryBurd (13 reviews) , 04 Nov 2013One of the worse 'horror' films I have ever watched. Not scary at all, quite disturbing, bad acting and the twist at the end would have been good if the hour leading up to it was any good but because it was so awful, unable to enjoy the okay-ish ending.
Good Twist!!By laneyb (313 reviews) from Rochester, Kent , 27 Sep 2013Not too bad a horror, I've seen better and I've seen worse. I Loved the twist to it, most unexpected.
