(7)Put a lid on the popcorn, sit back and enjoy..
By Rockchickzaz (1 review) , 14 Nov 2011This is not an action movie, it's a sci-fi thriller, take a basic Frankenstein plot, add all your favourite scenes from Easy Rider, Apocalypse Now, The Shining and invent a side-kick who is basically Laurel and Hardy in one body and Silent Rage is the mongrel stitched together movie you end up with. Having said that I would't be surprised if Hugh Wilson, Jerry Paris and Wes Craven had seen this and nicked bits of it in turn for their Police Academy and Nightmare on Elm Street films two years later.
In spite of it's mongrel pedigree and cringingly bad 'lighter moments' I thought it was great entertainment, and it made me jump whilst genuinely 'peering through my fingers', which most more recent horror movies don't even do. It's not great art but I'd watch it again, but maybe not with popcorn next time ... I'm still picking bits out of the back of the sofa.- Was this review helpful to you?

Terminator revisited
By Elvis (23 reviews) from Irvine , 10 Jul 2008This started off okay, but then decended into nonsense. It was like the Terminator re-visited. Chuck Norris was okay in it.- Was this review helpful to you?

Disappointing
By TakedaKen from Barrow-in-furness , 22 Mar 2005Chuck Norris is rather bland in this action film - he really doesn't believe in the script and it shows.
The script is one of the poorest Chuck Norris has been associated with - the "scientists" creating a "Frankenstein" monster is a bit comic-book and all associated characters are mere charactures. You cannot believe them. The Hell Angel scene(s) are even more comical - a poor film all round and one worth missing unless like me you are a Chuck Norris an in which case you will only watch this one once.- Was this review helpful to you?
