Silkwood - definitely worth watching

There are obvious comparisons with Erin Brockovich - which is certainly the more engaging and upbeat of the two.
Meryl Streep puts in a reliably great performance, while Cher and Kurt Russell surprise as solid supporting roles.
Though a little lengthy, Silkwood is definitely worth watching, if only for the poignant and thought-provoking ending which is set to the tender sound of Meryl Streep singing.
