One for the Kids
By a customer from Leeds England , 25 Nov 2003[Highly rated reviewer]
Kids will love this film. I have to say that it's not in the same league as the films made by Disney. Yes the story is good but it just seem to lack something which disney Films seem to have. Having said all of this my kids loved it and i am sure it will be on their Christmas list to Santa.- Was this review helpful to you?

(81)Sinbad not so bad
By a customer , 28 Sep 2011Couldn't watch it to the end. Kids were disappointed, and as we were in full 'pirates' mode, it was a tricky moment for this film choice. However, would give it a thumbs up I suppose.- Was this review helpful to you?

Sinbad and the CGI Bandits
By a customer from Edinburgh , 03 Jun 2010Hmmmm, I generally love animated films but the selling point with Sinbad is the use of CGI characters, it just doesn't work and looks like some B movie monsters have been spliced into the original 2D animation.
This film is dubiously purported to appeal to both adults and children, I don't think it is successful in appealing to either. The plot is fine but the somewhat stilted dialogue delivery from the two female leads is disappointing.- Was this review helpful to you?

Amazing Animation, Okay story
By Daz from Hertfordshire, England , 27 Apr 2010This was a well voiced movie and the animation really was excellent, the evil goddess and her creatures particuarly were well executed. The main issue unfortunately was the plot, it was quite predictable and considering what happens it wasn't as interesting as it should have been. Sinbad and the evil goddess were excellent and Sinbads dog was really cute, but the other characters felt a bit under developed.
I do think this would be a good film for kids though, and the animation really was excellent so all in all not a terrible film at all, just not as good as I had hoped.- Was this review helpful to you?

Sail On!
By a customer from Cheltenham , 30 Nov 2009I was expecting standard (yawn) animation styles but Dreamworks have done it again - this stuff rocks! Ok we have to endure more of the d*mn cutesy-cynico parrot but the out-of-control-to-the-edge-of-the-world sailing sequences are BREATHTAKING. Oh, and stand by for a tricksy goddess who can truly turn your world upside down. Really not just kiddy fodder. Sit back, buckle up and love the ride.- Was this review helpful to you?
