This black comedy was apparently inspired by Laura and is appropriately shot in a handsome film noir style. The story has something to do with a mother, her daughter and the stranger who comes calling, but there is really no plot and instead torture, gorging, vomiting and urination are dwelt upon to a perplexing degree. Meanwhile the leading lady, a non-professional who has not appeared in a subsequent film, indulges in irritating mannerisms. A minor succès de scandale on the festival and art house circuit, this is strictly for those on the lookout for the truly bizarre.

Poor quality soft porn
I suspected as much but was curious to see how much Singapore featured. Maybe I'm not the best judge to review this movie as I couldn't stand more than 15 minutes of ham acting but as there isn't another review yet.....

Rubbish
Soft-core porn flick with lots of T&A in the first hour. Very weak story-line although slight improvement in the last half hour of the film. Not recommended.
