A great series of one of the best TV shows aroundBy James from England , 09 Sep 2005
[Highly rated reviewer]Few shows combine maturity, depth and originality on TV. Six Feet Under, the HBO show concerning the lives of a family firm of funeral home owners, manages this in such a realistic, hard-hitting yet tender way that each new series is like meeting up with old friends, and it has quickly become my favourite TV program.
This series raises the already ludicrously high bar set by the previous seasons. It starts off leisurely enough, setting the scene, with Nate adjusting to his new life following surgery, Claire and David feeling their ways through changes in their own lives and Ruth still trying to hold everyone together.
But the tensions quickly build up: tempers fray; resentments rise to the surface; and a series of shocking developments propel the series into full-blown drama.
By the end, anyone not affected by the incredible storylines (acted, scripted and directed better than anything else on television) must surely be ready to check into the Fishers' funeral home already.
I simply can't recommend this enough.

Powerfull, edgy , poetic - the Best written series ever.By a customer from London - England , 05 Jan 2007This is the most gorgeous series ever! The characters are so human and the plots are so poetic and edgy, each episode contains so much wisdom and heart, I always cry and have this feeling that ' i' gonna change my whole life from this day on!!' It's cheesy i know, but it's true!!! it worth more than a 1000 titanics!! A masterpiece!

Six feet underBy a customer from England , 20 Sep 2006What can I say - every series is fantastic and highly addictive they have a bit of everything and are all great; Funny, Emotional, brilliant acting and always something to suprise.
Gone off a bit...By a customer from Bournemouth , 20 Sep 2006If you haven't seen this yet- give the whole programme a go! 3rd series has gone off a bit but it gets itself out of the dust in the last 2 episodes. Especially brilliant is Claire's wander into death with her dad in the series 3 ending. Watch too the promo video, one of the special features. Riveting.
