This award-winning short film by Irish playwright Martin McDonagh is a joy to behold. It is a short but bitter-sweet tragicomedy with a script that is full of the dark, irreverent humour that characterises his plays. Ruaidhri Conroy is compelling and Brendan Gleeson poignant as the main characters. This film well deserved the Oscar and all the other awards it has won and deserves to be widely seen. Highly recommended.
