comic fairytale of a girls overlooked sixteenth birthday.
under the shadow of her elder sisters wedding molly ringwalds all important aniversary is forgotten by her family.
she is taken up by lack of magical cheast growth and her love for school hunk jake.
lets just say i wish my life had ever worked out quite like sixteen candles but this is still a highly enjyable flick, don't take it to seriously though.
watch out for anthony michael hall as the geek and john cusack as one of his mates ( lovin the homoerotisism there).
There were some funny bits in this, although the part where the guy offers his passed out girlfriend to The Geek is a bit disturbing!!
