A basic bayou thriller distinguished by a very self-conscious subversive streak
I found this movie alot of fun to watch, i was expecting it to be a bit scary, but it wasn't scary at all. It wasn't as i expected but it was still a very very good storyline and great movie. i'd watch it again.
This shows a return to old school horror, where you don't always see blood and guts, just a hint of them...enough to make you draw your breath. This film is well acted, well scripted and well directed and produced. It's realistic (she behaves how you might in her circumstances) and you really don't see the ending coming. Highly recommended.
