Factual
By a customer from Scotland , 05 Jun 2007[Highly rated reviewer]
A few Chelsea accents in there but other than that, a reasonable portrayal
of modern day teen life, drugs, nudity, anorexia, foul language, simutated arousals, practicall no holds barred. It's funny, it's tragic, it's teen life with a sprinkle of lechery from adults who should know better. A hit on TV and no doubt the DVD release will prove just as popular.- Was this review helpful to you?

(39)ABSOLUTELY SPLIFFING!
By nORMObAZZA (1249 reviews) from Surrey, England. , 27 Jul 2010I was a big 'This Life' fan (up to the horrendous anniversary reunion fiasco) and found Skins reminiscent of that, but obvioulsy aimed at a younger audience. Despite being 20 odd years too old(?) for this, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Especially episode 2 that contained a fine naked mature and even finer naked MILF. Both worthy wank-bank material. HOULT is particularly disturbing, having taken his alien weirdo from 'About A Boy' and given him a grown up demonic twist here.- Was this review helpful to you?

series 3 has nothing on this
By a customer from Wales , 06 Jul 2010If you've only just become a fan of skins with the latest series on television then you have to watch this series. It is ten times better than the recent shows they have done, a really cool teen drama series- Was this review helpful to you?
