    LIVE!

This is not a video of Slades hits from 1971 - 1991.

It is a documentary and only parts of songs are shown.

Most of the footage is live on stage.l

    Critics!??!

Whilst the critics couldn't agree with each other (seen throughout the entire DVD) I became very annoyed and quite frankly bored. As there were no interviews with the band themselves I found it very irritating to hear what each critic thought i.e. which music direction Slade were going in and why; which songs were good and which were pants etc.

In short - don't bother. I love Slade but I hated this DVD.

    Coz I dont luv this

Slade where THE greatest group of the 70`s and as such deserve better than this offering.

Slade Inside is a collection of opinions by people I have never heard of sprinkled with a few TV clips of the band.

The whole offering gives no insight into the band or their music. Instead we have a mediocre skip through some of their hits.

No mention of their Stadium filling tours , no mention of Flame, infact very little insight at all.

What suprised me most was the total lack of interviews with any of the band members apart from one grainy black and white clip.

A chance has been missed to chronicle one of the greatest acts of the century.

    Disappointed

This is just people talking about Slade with a few snippets of performances.

I was hoping for some full performances, so I was very disappointed as there are none, just snippets.

    No Thanks For The Memory

I was a big fan of Slade in the 70s/80s. Here the critics are given greater importance than Slade. Too many interruptions during the tracks. All performances are studio, no Slade videos. No interviews with the Band. Some tracks were even discussed but not shown like Cum On Feel The Noize. Very disappointing.
