Two excellent films
By a customer from Liverpool , 10 Mar 2005[Highly rated reviewer]
This was 2 very enjoyable stories. Believably acted by all, intriguing story lines, suspense, and a curious quirky approach. Not so much a fell good movie as one that simply felt good.
I was kept guessing till the end, and if you enjoy wondering how its going to end, just imagine what it will be like when you are wondering how two stories will end. If you are baffled by that, you may well enjoy this one.- Was this review helpful to you?

(117)really good night in!
By amclondon (12 reviews) from london , 28 Apr 2013An oddly thought-provoking film with a double story line and the subtext of '...if only'. This is the story of an insecure and unhappy young woman whose life changes following a minor event. We then follow two possible sequences, and you end up rooting for them both. The end is poignant but ultimately satisfying- Was this review helpful to you?

Charming and intriguing
By a customer , 22 Feb 2012Very 90's. Shows two versions of the life of Helen after a small event. She is very endearing in both versions, however you find yourself shouting at her in both.- Was this review helpful to you?

Simply Wonderful
By vidmon (52 reviews) , 27 Jan 2012This is one of my favourite romantic comedies period, I'm putting it up there with Ang Lee's Sense and Sensibility.
The plot is this Gwyneth Paltrow has just been sacked and the ensuing story plays out as either catches her train or she misses it, leading to different choices in her life.
This aspect is brilliantly handled by Peter Howitt, with the stories being separate yet being completely intertwined at the same time. Paltrow is fantastic as playing a down to earth girl, and the supporting cast of Johns Lynch and Hannah are on top form as well.
The direction while being slightly romantic is well realised, special mention must go to the editing for a slick job. Add in Aqua's awesome version of turn back time, then you have a film for the optimist and the romantic.
Twelve/Thirteen years later this film still feels relevant and fresh as it did back in 1997/1998.- Was this review helpful to you?
