Someone did their money.

I hated doing this review as Anthony Hopkins is a fantastic actor and close to brilliant in most things he has done.
Anthony Hopkins, wrote the script and directed this movie.
He based the story on a theory of his that time is actually God. Time can so easily slip past without you noticing and perhaps life is a dream. Hence ..Slipstream.
I believe, Hopkins managed to raise 10 million dollars to make the film and in the cinema it closed after a week taking an internation total of just over $27,000 dollars.
The public were right , this film is just awful and shouldn't have even made it to DVD.
Someone, somewhere, might enjoy this film, but to be honest i think Antony Hopkins should stick to a acting , it really is that bad.

hopkins flop

unwatchable and seemingly missing a plot
By a customer , 10 Oct 2012It's not too uncommon to not get the plot of a film for the first 20 minutes. This bizarre piece of nothing still had me bereft of a hint at there even being a plot after 45 minutes, where I just gave up.
This film should have an epilepsy warning as well. There is a LOT of flashing imagery.- Was this review helpful to you?

By a customer , 26 Aug 2012For those of you that don,t get this first time round, I suggest you sit and watch it again . This is a good film , cleverly constructed and woven into a whirlwind of the surreal.
