Absolutely Fantastic!!!By Simply Awesome from Manchester, UK , 19 Aug 2007
[Highly rated reviewer]Wow!!!
To tell you what the story is about would ruin it; what I would do is give you a history lesson!
In the beginning there was the King who with his followers could own anything, subduing other kingdoms
The world grew
Then there was the little 'sheriffs' that owned little towns and with his 'boys' made sure everyone paid taxes due
The world grew and evolved and had new Kings with types
Politicians came and realized what you can lie to get what you want; you don't necessarily have to keep promises
Gangster, armed with guns, understood that you could loot anything - both in ghettos and otherwise
Lawyers who realized the Law is full of holes waiting to be plugged!
Religious leader who realized the benefits of using religion as an excuse.
Women (and Men) who realised the power of being like Jenna Jameson
The world changed still.
In this world, you can take the best of all previous worlds without having the disadvantage of being public,
This world is industrialization!!!
Trust me Slow Burn is a classic!

A Hidden GemBy FilmFan59 (47 reviews) from Mitcham , 17 Jul 2011Ray Liotta, LL Cool J, Mekhi Phifer what more do you want in a film? I had not heard about this film before but rented because of the above actors and what a wonderful surprise.
I love films which are full of suspense where the viewer is kept guessing and guessing and guessing until the end.
If you loved unusual suspects you will LOVE this.
Slow BurnBy a customer from Fareham , 19 Sep 2009Some big names in the cast so expectations were high, although tempered by the fact I don't remember noticing it on the cinema playlists (but we don't go as often as I'd like so that doesn't mean a great deal...).
Nothing really new, the twist has been done before and you can see it coming a mile off. Ray Liotta also having a 'off-day'.
WAS GOODBy a customer from Edgware , 16 Sep 2009THIS WAS BETTER THAN I THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BE. QUITE A FEW TWISTS AND TURNS ALONG THE WAY, BUT YEA NOT BAD.
ConfusingBy Texasdave (30 reviews) from Buxton , 28 Feb 2009Quite good but a little confusing in figuring out who was who.
Slow BurnBy a customer from Witney, , 04 Feb 2009It was worth the watch, but wasn't that exciting.
