born again teenager
Let me just say, I hate Dawson's Creek, The OC, One Tree Hill, and all those other teen dramas but I can now appreciate their appeal as I absolutely love Smallville!!
It's my escape from the real world and brings me back to being a teenager and watching those movies over and over again. Not so kitch as the films but ultimately more engrossing as you watch to see what other powers Clark finds he has and how he controls them.
Fantastic viewing with superb supporting and cameo roles from original cast. -

OK, So I'm a Fanboy
I don't know why I'm such a fan of this show. A lot of the episodes are as predictable as rain in Glasgow -- boy meets kryptonite, result menacing/pathetic freak. Clark sorts it all out, and doesn't get the girl.
But I couldn't wait to get this disc to see the resolution to the end of Season 1's cliffhanger, even if the cliff they're hanging from is about a foot high and I could have written it almost word-for-word myself. I was the same way about Buffy.
I highly recommend this DVD for people who really, really like shows about teenagers with secret super powers. If that's not your cup of tea, better give it a miss. -
