    Stick to the first

    I love the first one but this one is a quite daft. Transporting a pregnant elephant instead of moonshine gets our hero (the bandit) into all sorts of trouble. I wanted more car chases but alas I got more jokes.

    Memories

    I Love this film as it was my dear late fathers favourite. Every time i watch it, i see him laughing so much, the tears are running down his face. Jackie Gleeson is a master, a very funny,and great actor. You will like this if you like comedy.

    Burt Reynolds claims he turned down the chance to play superspy James Bond. The Smokey and the Bandit star said he was offered the part in 1969, after Sean Connery stepped down.
