And I Thought Sex Lives Of The Potato Men Was The Worst Film Ever!!!!!!!!!!!!
By a customer from Law, Scotland , 11 Dec 2004[Highly rated reviewer]
How can anyone get funding to make crap like this? Really, I want to know because it must be quite difficult to make something as bad as this!
This is an American film supposed to be set in Scotland. There is nothing slightly Scottish (unless of course you actually believe that everyone wears tartan) in this film, the locations were so obviously USA, the vehicles were so obviously USA the supposed Scottish accents (which made Robert Duvall's terrible accent in 'A Shot At Glory' seem not that bad) were easily the worst ever recorded, in fact most of these American 'actors' appeared to be from Belfast (just remind me, Belfast isn't in Scotland is it?)! Surely it wouldn't have been too much to ask for the production team to find someone from Scotland to show these idiots how to to attempt a Scottish accent.
I thought maybe I was being too judgemental on what is probably aimed at the younger viewer but my 10 year old son (who is football daft) eventually asked me to switch this film off because of the 'silly' voices.
The only people daft enough to believe that anything in this film was remotely Scottish are probably the English and maybe the Americans.
Do not waste your time with this rubbish (even if you are only 10 years old or perhaps English)!- Was this review helpful to you?

Wish there was a no star option
By a customer from Nottingham, England , 15 Nov 2005Since having kids my ability to watch less than great films has increased. However this one pushed me (and even the kids) to the limit. It had a weak plot, terrible acting (Scottish accents were appalling) and very poor characterisation. Have to admit couldn't watch it through to the end. I just wouldn't recommend to anyone.- Was this review helpful to you?

Soccer dog should be put to sleep
By milkythepale from Cardiff , 28 Jun 2005Soccer Dog is a hasbeen, those who have seen his other films, Bingo goes shopping, The Kennel of Dreams, and the horror film Rabid Dog will be disspointed by this half hearted effort. Soccer Dog, or to call him by his real name, Pablo the Great has let himself and his fans down. I still think the best Dog/Sports film available is Ernest and his Puppies.- Was this review helpful to you?
