From Garth Jennings, the director of The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy comes Son Of Rambow a comedy about friendship, faith and the bizarre business of growing up! Will, (Bill Milner) who isn't allowed to watch TV or go to the movies, expresses himself through his drawings and illustrations until he finds himself caught up in the extraordinary world of Lee Carter (Will Poulter), the school terror and crafter of bizarre home movies.
Carter exposes Will to a pirated copy of the first Rambo film, First Blood, which blows his mind wide open. Against his family's orders, his imaginative little brain begins to flower in the world of filmmaking. Will and Lee become popular at school through their films, but when a French exchange student, Didier Revol, arrives on the scene, their unique friendship and precious film are pushed to the breaking point.

WHY!
I dont see why anyone could release this film. its full of babies that cannot speak properly and it just makes me feel sick when they try and act.
Also you cannot try and make a film called SON OF RAMBO.....w, with a 'w' because its just insulting to the REAL rambo films.

Slightly disappointing
I was looking forward to this movie as from the adverts it seemed it was an adventurous romp that would bring me back to my youthful imaginings (I too loved the original Rambo movie as a child and saw myself as a trained jungle killer when playing the games we all did having seen it). However - what we actually received was a spoon fed and almost American sense of clichéd sweetness that did little to endear me to the characters or their specific plights - added to add depth to the main characters I am sure but you are left with a sense of caring little for them or their situations. I'm sure if I were again the age of the 2 main characters I would have enjoyed the movie but if you're over the age of 12 or 13 I'd suggest giving this one as wide a berth as your curiosity allows.
