Perfection. Why waste time and money going to the cinema to see one and a half hours of rubbish when you can stay at home and see 13 hours of the best scripts, direction and acting you will ever see? You can't fault this.
I've been watching this show from Series One, which I believe you have to do to get the best from it.
It is the most captivating thing I've ever seen on television, as well-written as 'Frasier'. It has all the boxes ticked, humour, sex, great dialogue (though I confess to needing the 'subtitles' feature so I don't miss a single line), the elements of a Greek tragedy, real life yet far removed from my own life.
My husband and I discuss these characters as if they were our own family, they seem that living and breathing to us.
I would urge you to watch the first series first, though, to get them all set in place in your mind.
Five star television.
