Sopranos, The - Series 6 - Part 2

The final installment of HBO's acclaimed drama series The Sopranos is filled with some of the darkest hours the well-drawn characters have ever faced. Having cheated death after being shot by Uncle Junior, Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini) continues to muse about his second chance at life in this series. He faces a myriad of immediate, stress-inducing crises at home, at work and from the law. Tony's wife Carmela (Edie Falco) plans for a future she's not sure will arrive, and son AJ (Robert Iler) and daughter Meadow find that adulthood holds its own surprises. Meanwhile, at work, Tony comes to doubt the allegiances of many of those closest to him--no one, not Paulie, Bobby, Silvio or even Christopher--is above suspicion. The clock is ticking. Time is running out. But for who?

    Masterful conclusion

To write a summary of The Sopranos finale is as hard as coming to terms with the fact that the greatest TV show ever made has now reached a conclusion. After spending six seasons with The Family get ready for the most explosive, thrilling, and terrifying series yet. If Part 1 seemed a little meandering then rest assured that every episode here is on a par with anything that David Chase has ever written. Nothing will prepare you for this. By the fourth episode I was so excited, nervous and exhilarated that I literally felt sick. In other words I just couldnt handle it, really its that good. I cried when it finished and now my life is empty, knowing that I will never again watch a TV show of such outrageous quality. Thankyou so much David Chase, you belong in the echelons of genius. A MASTERPIECE

Goodbye and thanks for all the Gabagool

For those of you who were disapointed with series 6 part 1, part deux should make you happier. I dont want to give any plot away but all the seething tensions of the previous few series seem to have resurfaced. Nobody is willing to 'forget about it' anymore and heads are going to roll. And it is sad thing to see some of those heads that you have come to know like some dysfunctional uncle go. However that is the price of ending this show with a climax, and as usual it is great tv that only HBO seems capable of these days. Americans didnt like the ending, but i did because it reminded me of the itallian job. Goodbye Sopranos and thanks for all the Gabagool.
