To write a summary of The Sopranos finale is as hard as coming to terms with the fact that the greatest TV show ever made has now reached a conclusion. After spending six seasons with The Family get ready for the most explosive, thrilling, and terrifying series yet. If Part 1 seemed a little meandering then rest assured that every episode here is on a par with anything that David Chase has ever written. Nothing will prepare you for this. By the fourth episode I was so excited, nervous and exhilarated that I literally felt sick. In other words I just couldnt handle it, really its that good. I cried when it finished and now my life is empty, knowing that I will never again watch a TV show of such outrageous quality. Thankyou so much David Chase, you belong in the echelons of genius. A MASTERPIECE
For those of you who were disapointed with series 6 part 1, part deux should make you happier. I dont want to give any plot away but all the seething tensions of the previous few series seem to have resurfaced. Nobody is willing to 'forget about it' anymore and heads are going to roll. And it is sad thing to see some of those heads that you have come to know like some dysfunctional uncle go. However that is the price of ending this show with a climax, and as usual it is great tv that only HBO seems capable of these days. Americans didnt like the ending, but i did because it reminded me of the itallian job. Goodbye Sopranos and thanks for all the Gabagool.
From the begining of the first ever series to the end of this last series the show hardly put a foot wrong. It never just stood still and repeated itself but was like dozens of Godfathers. You hated and loved Tony and his cronies at the same time. I personally thought the end of the final episode was completly fitting and left me totally satisfied.

What an unbelievable epic series. The Soprano family have been in my life for so long. Now it has finished i really do feel empty inside. There never has been and never will be a series of such class and quality. David Chase you are as much of a legend as the actors themselves. James Gandolfini you will forever be Tony Soprano in my heart. Amazing is all i can say. My heart was in my mouth this whole series. the last 4 episodes being the best bit of television i have ever seen. I have watched the whole series by myself but watched the last episode with a group of friends. i don't think i have ever told people to be quiet so much in one hour. mesmerizing, genius, inspired and endearing viewing. for those of you that still havn't seen any sopranos i envy you for one thing. you still have 6 series of the best thing you will ever watch in your life left. i have none. Tony. You will be missed!
OK, it's not the ending I would have chosen, and It did leave me cold for a minute or two, but what a series, and the more I thought about it, the more fitting the end became.
It's a shame it's over, but what a great ride !!
Quite simply 'The Soprano's' is probably the best drama series that has ever been made.
Basically that is it in one sentence.
If you've never seen it and thought 'it's just going to be guy's running around shooting and stabbing each other, well you are very wrong.
Yes, there is the occasional slice of violence which is obviously required - since it is about a Mafia family, but this is the background for which all of the individual character's live there day-to-day lives. It has so many theme's running through it that anyone who begins watching from the first series will be able to relate to something in it, such as personal family life, food, food and more food. It is about love and hate. It is very funny and can be also very sad.
If you watch it from the very beginning you will find a character or characters you will love and this is what got me addicted. I have seen every single episode, sometimes two or three times, and I could still watch them all over again. I'm just gutted it's all over !

It's a shame the Sopranos is finished now. But the episodes leading up to the series finale were as usual, brilliantly written and the perfomances were spot on.
what a great end to the best series on tv......ever! Ive seen every episode and thoroghly enjoyed them all. although i had my favourites....blue comet was one of them.I did not like the ending of made in america at first but I now I understand it. And it fits in with the show so well.(plus it leaves the story open for a comeback). If i have one regret it is that i have watched all the episodes so many times, and cannot see them for the first time ever again.
I rented the final disc only as believe it or not I missed the very final episode. I had stayed clear of the descriptions on the net about the end and really glad I did. It was like saying goodbye to friends? youve know for many years but it was a goodbye at the top of their performances from script through directing to actors. You are probably a Sopranos fan if you have got this far in the DVD collection so nuff said.
