Quite a riot of rocket and chimps chaos.

A relatively unhyped animation, Space Chimps is based around HAM III, a pale imitation of his grandfather HAM I who became a chimp champ when he was blasted into space as part of a NASA experiment. Two generations later HAM II is a circus cannonball act, with pretentions to being a superchimp himself, when the chance arises though all is not ape-arrently well with HAM II who isn't quite as bold as he would like to think. With a bit of love interest and a chance to rescue a new mission, as always all things don't quite go to plan. This is a bit of a family gem that might just get missed by most.. so get it on your list and have a bit of madcap monkey magic before the word is out. By a customer , 03 Mar 2013The plot was boring and obscure, the writing was bad, the jokes were bad (with the exception of a few), the animation at parts felt incomplete and rushed especially backdrops and long distance shots. Do not recommend unless for very young children (under 7)- Was this review helpful to you?

cheap animation, horrible story and unfunny jokes. Dont watch

Not for kids
By a customer from London , 24 Aug 2010I was not expecting anything great from this film, but I was nicely surprised. It was VERY funny and not childish at all. Actually I didn’t even get some of the jokes! I really enjoyed it. It does not last long, but it’s pure laughter with an original plot.
