In 1958 four test pilots (Clint Eastwood, Tommy Lee Jones, Donald Sutherland and James Garner) were about to become the first men in space. But internal problems prevented that from happening and they were all discharged. Four decades later the group are re-formed when an old Russian satellite suffers system failure, the results of which could be catastrophic if not sorted out soon. The only system that can stop the satellite from causing mass destruction is the old navigation system designed by Eastwood and his team. So the ageing team are sent into space in the shuttle on a mission to fix the satellite.

The Good Old Boys......

As the title says - Good Old Boys ! This film has some of your old time hero's such as Clint Eastwood, Tommy Lee Jones and Donald Sutherland in. It's a light hearted film, with comedy and romance thrown in for good measure. Not a blockbuster but a good sunday afternoon film to whisk the hours away. You can't beat the old school actors and they show in this film they have lost none of thier charm and carisma.

I wanna be a space cowboy!

Really enjoyed this! It has everything drama, intrigue, laughs, plot twists and nostalgia! It works as well now as when it was made probably because we all have a bit of 'good old boys' inside. This movie will bring it out and make you feel good! Well it did that for me!

Old boys a step to far

With a golden oldie cast I thought this would be a hit. Reminded me alot of Armageddon but a slow and boring version lacking effects. Acting felt drained and lifeless. The Film never got going. Tommy lee jones played his part well but the rest were wooden. Would stick to Armageddon if your looking for a save the world film.

I really enjoyed this film, I dont normally like older films but this film was fantastic n quite an emotional ride.

FAB! Although a few years old this film is still worth a watch.

Great cast, Funny, and brings you down to 'Earth'.

even tho this film is 11 years old, it's just as good, fantastic cast.clint eastwood at his best, director, and producer.kept my attention all the way through.
