this series is pure brutality, none of the namby pamby nicey nicey stuff off hollywood, this series is how it would've been simple as. There is blood and guts galore, and lots of naughty sexy bits, so if your easily offended DON'T WATCH!!- Was this review helpful to you?

Great, looking forward to next season
By mhe (1 review) , 03 Apr 2013Liam McIntyre steps up to play Spartacus! He fits in well. I was not so keen on them switching the actress for Naevia. Very gory - I spent a lot of time hiding behind a cushion, but I still enjoyed it. Can't wait for the next season! War of the damned!- Was this review helpful to you?

Awesum Third Series
By JDK32 (1 review) from Northampton , 30 Mar 2013If you are a Spartacus follower and thought, like me, that the change of the lead actor would spoil the third installment of the series then fear not, it does not!! The third series is as hard hitting, violent and just as in your face as the first two and the death of Andy Whitfield, although tragic, does not change the feel of the Spartacus character or the other characters...Liam McIntyre has slotted into the role effortlessly. There are, as always, graphic and well executed fight scenes and the usual twists and turns in the plot you would come to expect from this series. You can tell I'm a big fan and cannot wait to watch War of the Damned! If you have never seen an episode of Spartacus please start from the beginning and watch 'em all....it's sooooo worth it. But if you don't like fighting, graphic scenes of sex and violence and dastardly back-stabbing romans then this really isn't for you!!- Was this review helpful to you?
