Species 2

Sil, the sex-crazed alien life form from the predecessor "Species" is now a clone named Eve (Henstridge). Eve is the acting subject of governmental experiments until a trio of astronauts returns from a trip to Mars and one starts behaving rather strangely. Astronaut Patrick Ross (Lazard) begins to act eerily similar to Sil in that sexual predator sort of way that Henstridge made so endearing in "Species."

Head explosions, torso-bursting and computer-generated aliens in heat: it's all here in Peter Medak's science-fiction howler which continues the half-human/half-alien DNA experiment as a sex rampage saga. Far gorier and camper than the original film, this lascivious popcorn treat is a spectacularly lunatic shocker revelling in soft-core sleaze and grisly death. Piling up the unintentional laughs alongside the bloodied victims, the actors coast through the mayhem as if they couldn't be bothered bringing an iota of credibility to this terminally daft scenario. An absolute hoot.

    Did you press Pause?

Ok..Now what were you expecting here? A master piece, I think not but this film does have a few clips with good special effects (the head regeneration anyone?). It’s not as good as he original but what made the original so good was Natasha Henstridge, she seemed so innocent & virginal. It seemed any healthy man could have her, this appealed to men watching the film.

Not as many nude clips but lots more gore than the original but when you finally see Nat topless..well..lets just say a chicken was choked.

Some cheese, i,e the general eye but in the end you get what you see
