    Don't waste your time

While the first movie was kind of a classic in it's own right and the second movie was a semi decent follow up, the straight to video status of Species 3 says it all...this film is terrible. They say some films are so bad that they're good, but this is just so bad that it's bad! Avoid like the plague!

    Much Better !

This film makes up for the let-down that was the second movie. A very interesting and imaginative storyline with some hints of other classic sci/fi movies thrown into the mix. Well worth a viewing if you have seen the first two movies in this Trilogy.

Worth a watch even if you just want to be entertained. The alien is a hybrid half human and half who knows! Turn the volume up and the lights down low and prepare to be entertained.

    We both fell asleep

Absolute RUBBISH - don;t bother wasting your time to watch this. We both fell asleep and couldn't be bothered to watch the last 40 minutes of the film to find out what happened!!

    Species 3

Not a very engaging story. Acting so woody it would have gone down well at a carpenters convention. Director seemed confused as to weather to concentrate on mild erotica or special effects. Neither really work. Silliest of the bunch and only really worth watching if slightly intoxicated.

    Mind candy Rating 2 stars.

A Poor end to the trilogy

Whilst the first film was a good sci fi horror and the second a fairly decent sequel, all this one does is just tie up a loose end right at the begining and then go downhill from there, worth renting but only if you enjoyed the first two.

I hope they end the series here, if they make another it will be a total waste of time and effort.

    Worth taking a look

I wouldn’t normally bother to watch this kind of film – is it horror or sci-fi? But the attraction of the Species films is of course Natasha Henstridge :o)

I’d like to have seen more of her, but I think her replacement was perfectly acceptable. These films aren’t meant to be taken seriously, so it’s hardly worth analysing them. Personally I’d put this down as slightly better than the second film, but if you liked the first Species, you should like this.

PS to those who say they hope this is the last of the series – you know you could just ignore Species 4 if/when it comes along!
