Bewilderingly, this starry comedy bypassed cinemas and went straight to video in the UK. It's a shame, because it's a smart and sassy affair from director Ron Underwood. Michael Keaton and Geena Davis spark off each other nicely, playing a pair of rival political speech writers who fall in and out of love with each other while on the campaign trail. There are excellent supporting turns from Bonnie Bedelia, Charles Martin Smith and Christopher Reeve, and Underwood has some gentle fun at the expense of the American political system.
