Poor In the Extreme
It appears the budget was solely for Special effects. The Story line was contrived at the last moment as an after thought.
Poor doesnt quite cover it. -

Time's Up, Spidey
The most disappointing Spidey film by far. Poor story, poor acting and propped up by special effects that aren't so special. If Toby, Kirsten et al have been locked in for further films - they need to escape, if they know what's good for them. The sand man was created in the blink of an eye, with no particular explanation or build, the meteoric black gunk wandered around waiting to play it's part and as for Toby's dancing and strutting, it just left you speechless at the toe-curling embarrassing display - which pretty much summed up the film!

After its world premiere in Tokyo, Spider-Man 3 received its UK debut in Leicester Square last night, with most of the cast hitting the red carpet. Tobey Maguire, who plays the split-personality superhero, was in attendance, as was Kirsten Dunst, who portrays love interest Mary-Jane, Topher Grace (Venom) and James Franco (the Green Goblin), among others.
