Poor In the ExtremeBy Cleric (11 reviews) from Ilminster , 21 Nov 2007
[Highly rated reviewer]It appears the budget was solely for Special effects. The Story line was contrived at the last moment as an after thought.
Poor doesnt quite cover it.

Cringeworthy!By MrLee (38 reviews) from Dudley , 03 Sep 2009Really didn't think this was a very good movie. The action scenes were ok but the rest of it just felt awkward and embarassing to watch. Lot of moments to make you cringe and found myself fast forwarding the film just to get to an action scene.
Spiderman 3By a customer from York , 18 Aug 2009After the first two this was a poor effort. Lack of storyline and action.
Please dont make another!!
Spiderman 3 like 1&2By BarHamster (63 reviews) from Harrogate , 03 Aug 2009For me the Spiderman franchise started pretty well, not overly done or too extravagant but well filmed. Then the second film came out and it did nothing to really excite and unfortunately this instalment does exactly the same.
When it comes to enemies as with many comic book characters Spidy has his fair share to choose from. Finally they got around to everybodys favourite Venom! Personally Im of the belief that the whole film could of been based around this one character but instead they threw in not one but two other bad guys overdone. Maybe the thinking was add an enemy every time there is a new film but lets hope not.
The actual story is what you would expect not only from a comic book adaptation but from a third film in the Spiderman line. Good guy versus bad guy (or guys) in awesome fight scenes with the background love theme and overlaying moralistic story. In that respect it delivers everything you want just not in any really attention grabbing fashion.
As with all the previous films the cast has been well chosen and thankfully the originals have been kept. However they seem to have found the character profile from the first film and even though the story is trying to enhance and change them the actors dont seem to want to change their interpretation. Also the cool infected version of Peter Parker is cringe worthy beyond comment so I can be thankful they didnt extend that any further!
Overall Spiderman 3 will continue what has already begun and probably lead us into the next couple of sequels maybe becoming a saga. If youve watched the first two then it makes sense to keep going unless you hated them in which case youre better off avoiding it.
spider man 3By a customer from Droitwich , 02 Aug 2009Much better than spider man 2 more action & a better plot. I would recommend this film to anyoe that hasnt seen it.
Embarrasing MomentsBy Michael O'Dea from Lancashire , 31 Jul 2009CGI OK. Too many villains makes for too much complication. It appears as though the story was made up by committee as the film progressed.
I am so glad I missed this at the cinema. I would have been sliding under my seat with embarrassment during some of the scenes, especially when the son has a change of heart and becomes good again! Pathetic unreal reasons.
Anyway it was reasonable VIDEO entertainment I suppose.
