James Frawley has had a chequered career. One moment he's directing Jean Renoir in The Christian Licorice Store; the next he's guiding Kermit and Miss Piggy through The Muppet Movie. His career highlight was the disaster spoof The Big Bus and he's back on the pastiche path with this manic TV movie from the pen of Ed Self. Your enjoyment of this espionage comedy will largely depend on your ability to stomach improvisational comic Harry Anderson, who tears through the action like the Tasmanian Devil. Ed Begley Jr, Linda Purl and Total Recall's Rachel Ticotin rather get lost in the fallout.
its predictable but quite amusing just the same.
