Absolutely unmissable
By shazzadee (1 review) , 18 May 2011[Highly rated reviewer]
just finished watching this on bbc 4. Absolutely brilliant. Similar to the Wire in terms of the legal system and corruption across all angles. I can;t wait to watch series one and 2.
Subtitles are not a problem in the slightest - you get used to it. unmissable- Was this review helpful to you?

(16)Crime thrillers don't get any better
By a customer , 25 Apr 2013Best cop movie, series I have ever watched. The story lines are complex and intriguing. The characters accurately depict the strengths, virtues and and weaknesses in all of us. I have been following the entire series throughout and can't wait until the next series returns. Addictive, thrilling, compelling, edge of your seat crime fighting drama. The Danish series The Killing is tedious in comparison.- Was this review helpful to you?

"Spiral 3"; A turn-off from the word "go"
By a customer , 13 Apr 2013I really enjoyed the first two series of 'Spiral' and was really looking forward to series three. Sad to say my anticipation lasted all of five minutes into episode one, where I was 'treated' to the full on sight of a gruesomely mutilated woman's body. There's 'gritty realism' and there's 'you've stepped over the line'. I want engaging characters and storylines, and got them from the first two series. This degree of detail I can do without; bottom line is I watch things to be entertained, not feel sickened. A big turn-off, and a big disappointment.- Was this review helpful to you?

Spiral gets better and better.
By a customer , 02 Apr 2013I have seen series one,two and three now and can honestly say it's getting better all the time. I am now watching series 4 on BBC4. I cannot recommend this series enough. Up there with the likes of The Shield and The Wire. Totally absorbing.- Was this review helpful to you?

Simply the best
By a customer , 07 Feb 2013Missed this series on tv so really pleased to catch it on DVD. This really is the best cop drama around and the spiral of Laure's life is so well played. I love it and can hardly wait for series 4.- Was this review helpful to you?

Best Series Yet
By youngian (8 reviews) , 15 Jan 2013Lead cops Laure and Gilou are even deeper in the murky merde while Roban has even bigger compromises to make. Yet another great for British viewers still waiting for its domestics cop shows to find their mojo again.- Was this review helpful to you?
