    A tough series for spooks

Many fans of Spooks will find this series different as the Spooks franchise goes through a period of massive transition. This series sees the 3 main characters leave the series and the viewer having to become accustomed to a whole set of new characters. The exits and entries span the whole series, which forces the viewer to step outside of their comfort zone. Look beyond this and there are some amazing episodes, and we see some of the minor characters really develop. Stick with it - this is quality drama!

This series is full of twists and turns and really keeps you on the edge of your seat. It's unpredictable storylines provide entertaining, poignant drama at it's best. Superb acting throughout,it's pseudo-realism is unsurpassed by any contemporary televised British dramas yet. It really is essential viewing if you enjoy a slick, intelligent and well produced show. I am definitely not a fan of 'James Bondesque' thrillers, and Spooks really raises the bar for credible espionage based dramas. I would recommend this to anyone with a few brain cells in need of refreshment!

    Espionage and intrigue!

Enter the world of espionage and intrigue and watch as MI5 observe and analyse dangerous situations and then combat the perpetrators. This is a dark, dimly lit set of stories but it has a gritty believability to its plots.

    VERY GOOD INDEED

This is a top show the removal of some of the main players is very real and slips the show into a much higher gear Harry is still the top dog though

    Gritty story lines

As ever the stories revolve around MI5 locating and preventing dangerous people from perpetrating terrorist activities. They are dark and gritty stories and involve you in the lives of the MI5 operatives so they aren't one dimensional spies alone but people with lives and loves outside of work.

    British Spy Thriller

If you want to have an idea about what MI5 do having heard about them in the press 'Spooks' gives you a good idea.

The stories give a rounded view of MI5 operatives and the effect the work they do has on their personal lives.

    An involving season.
