my 12 year old son joseph loved this dvd. it starts on the 30th july 1966 on world cup final day, when England's Bobby Moore and West Germany's Uwe Seeler led their teams out onto the Wembley turf before an expectant crowd of 94,000. What Followed is part of footballing legend.
well worth watching
my 12 year old son Joseph really enjoyed this dvd. With the game being shown in its original black and white form and the original commentary, it really does let you feel what it must have been like, to be a part of English football's greatest ever moment ,and one that true football fans will want to watch again and again.
The audio commentary is amazing, as Jack Charlton amongst others, explain what was happening during the match, and their experiences of it.
The documentary gives some good insight ,into the 1966 World Cup, and the interviews, with the late Kenneth Wolstenholme and Bobby Moore's wife, are very interesting.
well worth renting out.
