Deep Space Nine is the darker side of Star Trek and unlike any of the others. Whereas other series are set on starships this is set on a space station, which essentially means that when there is a problem they cannot fly off to the other side of the galaxy and cower behind an asteroid. Similarly there is no escaping ex's. Season 2 is similar to season 1 in that it is mainly character and background development with a lot of Bajoran episodes and a lot of Cardissian episodes and a few episodes which show glimpses of the briliance that follows in later seasons. Unlike any television series I have seen, Deep Space Nine is a coherant story told over seven seasons, and each season builds on the last and adds to the next. As such the character and background development in this season creates a familar, believable world and characters which lays down the path for later seasons. Definately worth watching and those who stick with it until the end of season seven will be richly rewarded.
well....its star trek innit what more can u say...better than sex???
