i simply can`t understand why paramount have now decieded to axe this brilliant show.sci fi at its best.lets hope there are going to be some movies.
From the start, this new Star Trek series showed great promise: all the action of the Original Series, the intelligence of Next Generation, the darkness and political conflict of Deep Space Nine and the epic struggle of Voyager. But as time progressed in Season 1, it seemed they were struggling to find a direction for the series. There are many great episodes in Enterprise and its a shame it was cancelled before its 5th year.
Wow! JJ Abrams just kick-started the summer movie season with a smart, thrilling blockbuster that exceeds all reasonable expectations. My first impression: this is the best Star Trek movie ever. Like Abrams, I wouldn’t call myself a Trekkie (let alone a “Trekker”). I liked the original show, found the subsequent movies hit-and-miss, and skipped most of the Next Generation.
