Review of Descent I episode only...
The second major set-to between the Enterprise and the Borg, with the addition of Hugh (from I, Hugh) the 'individual' Borg from a previous episode and Data's evil brother, Lore. Here a group of Borg, affected by the individualism running through systems caused by the re-assimilation of Hugh, fall easy prey to the ambitions of Lore, who intends to make them into a fighting force for his own ambitions. Data is compromised by radiations emanating from an emotion chip broadcast by Lore, and joins the 'dark side.' Will Picard and the crew escape the evil clutches of Lore? Can Data be rescued from his descent into evil? Watch the second part on the season seven disks to find out...

What can you say it's Star Trek you know what you are getting and this season delivers in full. This is the version which persuaded the money men to give us a further 3 Star Trek universes.
