This disc contains two feature-length episodes 'Redemption' and 'Unification'
In Redemption Worf must regain his honour and his family name whilst supporting Gowron in his ascension as leader of the council and in his war aginst the sisters of Duras. Picard must stop the Romulan daughter of Tasha Yar from interfering in Klingon affairs, and Data gets to demonstrate his leadership as captain of a starship. Excellent, 5 stars.
Unification stars Leonard Nimoy as an ageing Spock intent on bringing together the Vulcan and Romulan people. It's a pretty interesting episode, probably only worthy of 4 stars on its own.
As a disc containing both films, this gets 5 stars overall from me.
This disc contains 'Birthright' and 'Descent'.
In Birthright, Worf receives a tip-off that his father might be alive and held in a Romulan prison camp. An okay episode, but not one of the best - a generous 4 stars.
In Descent, Data is alarmed to find that he enjoys killing a Borg drone that has attacked him. This sends him off into an investigation into his emotional capability that has dire consequences. Data's brother Loar turns up as the new leader of a sect of Borg escapees, and he plans to rule the universe with Data at his side... Excellent, 5 stars.
Overall I'd give this disc 4 stars because Birthright is a bit weak.
