Star trek season 1 the original series
By a customer from Canvey Island , 04 Dec 2009[Highly rated reviewer]
Science fiction at it`s best, pure nostalgia.
This is science fiction that I grew up with. It may have corny moments, but it is loveable in the extreme.- Was this review helpful to you?

(7)Disc 8 a disappointment
By a customer , 02 May 2013Watch out for disc 8 - especially if like me you're on a limited number of discs per month. It only has one actual episode on it - Operation: Annihilate! - and a lot of fillers. Two are quite short and interesting, but the main one is a 90-minute documentary on the 40th(?) anniversary memorabilia auction. Sure there are a few interesting bits in it, but not enough to sustain an hour and a half, so you might want to find something else to spend your monthly allocation on.- Was this review helpful to you?

bluray for trekkies
By greenroom1971 (9 reviews) from Northampton , 05 Sep 2011bluray transfers look crisp and sharp.!colours look vibrant aswell.! the new enhanced effects make a subtle but well needed addition to a series that was starting to get a little tired.! particuarly in where no man has gone before..probably for trek fans only..!- Was this review helpful to you?

Remastered well
By Rwky (1 review) from Earth , 12 Jun 2011The classic series in all it's glory. This is the remastered version, the live action scenes are brilliant, no grainy bits and look better than TV recorded in the past 10 years. Sadly the old wire models have been replaced by computer generated graphics, but to give credit where credit's due the new CG integrates very well into the old scenes.
If you've never seen the original series then this is defiantly worth renting!- Was this review helpful to you?

this is where it is at
By Xenohed (43 reviews) from Wickford , 02 Apr 2010this blew me away, was not expecting much thought the reviews were all hype. this truly does look and sound better than some hollywood blockbusters of the last 6 months, and it was decades ago it was produced. the storylines are as up to the minute as the day they were created. a must view.- Was this review helpful to you?

So brilliant.
By a customer from Tunbridge Wells , 09 Feb 2010The 1st and still the best. Intelligent sci fi with cult 1960's feel. I love it! You will too!- Was this review helpful to you?
