Oh dear...

I didn't think things could get much worse that the Scott Bakula vehicle of 'Enterprise', but it looks like they just have. Bring back Patrick Stewart!- Was this review helpful to you?

(849)A Great Sci-Fi Adventure
By AVSheard (53 reviews) , 11 May 2013This film was great. I went to see it having never seen anything to do with star trek before in my life and I was hooked at once. The action was awesome so much so that it even outdid the star was series. It also nicely introduced all the character so people like me who haven't seen the series could easily understand who everyone was. The different races were not explained much so I had little understanding of what Romulans and Vulcans were apart from different to humans. But this may have made the film a little to long. Over all it is defiantly worth watching even if you haven't seen any of the Star Trek series before.- Was this review helpful to you?

Not out of this world but worth watching
By a customer , 03 May 2013With such strong characters to replace from original series I didnt think I would like a new star trek... but actually this was pretty good and I will be watching the 2nd now out at the cinema. A remake without repeating and copying the old stories, something new and exciting.- Was this review helpful to you?

One of the best Star Trek movies ever!
By lizcam (8 reviews) , 31 Mar 2013[Highly rated reviewer]
Absolutely brilliant! I was hooked from the start right to the end. The acting was excellent and the storyline spot on. Being a long standing Star Trek fan, I thought I might be disappointed, but I loved it. Can't wait for the follow up.- Was this review helpful to you?

Star Trek never looked so good
By gmakin (3 reviews) from Liverpool , 17 Jan 2013This is one of the most enjoyable blockbusters of the past few years, with great visuals, action and character moments; characters we're all familiar with, whether fans or not. It's worth seeing for the knockout opening sequence alone. I even loved the lens flares.- Was this review helpful to you?

Great characterisations
By a customer , 16 Dec 2012Wonderful film with superb characterisation of the foibles, views, developments and history of the characters that were in the original TV series. The actor who plays 'Bones' has it to a 'T', even the voice characteristics, likewise Chekov and Sulu. Not sure about Scottie though. Watch it and enjoy and reminisce.- Was this review helpful to you?
