Say it.. Episode 2.5
By adiw from Market Harborough , 31 Mar 2005[Highly rated reviewer]
I have a good feeling about this...
Picture the scene. Anakin Skywalker is closing in on a rogue fighter, missiles at the ready. They weave in and out of tall skyscrapers at blistering speed. Anakin locks on, missiles ready to launch..
'I have you now...' It brings a teardrop to the eye and a lump to the throat.
If, however, you remain unmoved by the previous sentiments, feel free to look away now. The Clone wars is a stunning addition to the Starwars Universe which captivates the very essence of the Force. You know, and all that stuff.
Colourful animation, explosive action and all the right ingredients create an experience that eclipses Episode one and makes you feel like a child once again. And Jar Jar Binks can rot in cartoon Hell.
The Force is strong in this one... Volume two promises to be even better.- Was this review helpful to you?

Stylish but not great
By brokenking (255 reviews) from Bristol , 18 Apr 2010More stylish than the original films but not as well made. As a short cartoon the series is good enough but given its for Star Wars I would expected better. I think the main problem is that the Clone Wars is too great an event to be contain in such a short time frame. The second series extended the episodes but what events relate to the films I don't think are considered canon. I personaly only recommend this for the completists, which unfortunately I probably am one.- Was this review helpful to you?

A Must See
By Earlyman (1 review) from Bristol , 05 Jul 2009What else can i say but Amazing!!!!!!! these star wars episodes were first broadcast on the cartoon network a few years back as 5 minute shorts, but they come together to form a filler between episode 2 and 3. the animation and detail is fantastic, if you are a star wars fan and you have not seen them, watch them ASAP, you wont be disappointed!!- Was this review helpful to you?
