Ugh...that's all I'm thinking right now. Whereas the last game didn't impress me with the wandering camera, lack of punch behind the force and so-so graphics, at least it had a wicked story, telling us all about how the rebellion was formed. It had some real meat and gravy to it and could easily fit into canon.

This time around, the camera, graphics and force have been tweaked - I mean some of the power are top shelf in terms of quality - but the story has gone straight out the window. From beginning to end it's just Starkiller moaning about where his girlfriend is. Every other cut scene it's 'Where is she?......WHERE IS SHE!!!!!????' right up till the final confrontation, which was more of a slog than a satisfying face-off - as it was marketed in EVERY trailer.

There's virtually zero replay value either, thanks to all the collectables (just cubes again is it? Yes it is) being right in eye shot most of the time. Others just being lazily hidden to your left or your right as you enter an area, capitalising on the fact you don't really need to look left or right or when you enter a new area, so you see what they did there.

Overall this is a lazy sequel, just tacked on and given enough amount of spit and polish to satisfy those that thought the last incarnation was a bit of a let down, but now we have a new problem - the aforementioned story, or lack of it, perhaps.

God knows how they'd pick it up from where the last cut scene ends. And the ludicrous way of 'dealing' with Darth Vader in said cut scene is right out of the book marked Laziness 101.

Ultimately this left me with a very bitter taste in my mouth and I'm entirely grateful that I didn't actually pay for this bile. Avoid.

Very poor game Wii controls were as mentioned in other reviews, just became a hack and slash, boring and dull.

It's a okay game bit repetative and a boring storyline and it's sucks that it only takes about 4-5 hours to complete no game should be that short so bit disappointing and glad I never bought it

  • Fun, but don't expect anything new

This game feels like one lengthy level; there's not much variety and motivation in comparison to the original Force Unleashed. I think that this game's story is rather mediocre, and I hope that the novel version doesn't replicate the story - that'd make a *very* tedious read!

Star Wars games come in many shapes and sizes; the epic Knights of the Old Republic, the action-packed Battlefront II, the not-so-good Republic Heroes, and now we have The Force Unleashed II; a game that probably won't go down as one of the Star Wars greats.

There isn't too much replay value in this game; the only non-story content is a 'challenges' mode, but this isn't too interesting and is only for the honing of one's combat skills in my opinion.

Combat is fun to begin with, but becomes increasingly tedious. Also, for one who has completed or at least progressed far into The Force Unleashed II - there's nothing new. Unlocks are generally the same, and the only changes to the protagonist are a 'force rage' mode, and a second lightsaber.

Rent this game, don't buy it - unless you're a determined Star Wars collector.
