Rent it - NOW!

So many series suffer from initial problems, actors getting to grips with the characters, etc. etc. Star Trek TNG/Voyager for example, took ages to settle in to a good format. Startgate Atlantis im pleased to say does not fall in to this catagory. From the first episode, to the last in the series, it was excellent. The characters were very likeable and different enough from the original (although there are some similarities), so as not to make the stories seem samey. My only problem was with the very last episode - what a cliffhanger! I now have to wait months to see what happens!!!

In summary, this should appeal to anyone who likes the original - but you dont really have to know anything about it if you're a Stargate Virgin. Rent with confidence.
