    Stargate S.G. 1 - Series 5 - Vol. 24 - Episodes 17 To 20

Season 5 was a decent season for the show. With the characters and stories well developed by this point they were able to explore nee aspects of the Stargate universe. That said this disk does not offer the best example of this.

Failsafe: - This is a reasonably good episode involving SG-1 saving Earth from a Goua’uld sent asteroid. Few good one liners and we plotted script, however in the end this is little more than a mid season filler.

The Warrior: A new Jafa arrives to lead the rebellion against the Goua’uld, but all may not be so simple. Not a fan of this one.

Menace: In an abandoned city SG-1 find a robot girl who turns out to be the creator of one of their enemies. A slow episode, building to a strong action ending with wider implications to the show.

The Sentinel: A very good episode in my opinion following up and developing a number of former story lines. The story following SG-1’s attempt at liberating a planet from Goua’uld control using a powerful and broken weapon
