Great Friday Night Movie

Read the above Time Out review then toss it out the window. This movie is great. Good chemistry between the leads, nice story and effects but you don't have to think about it. The movie just flows so well.
A well remembered favourite (I had only watched it once before renting it and enjoyed it just as much as the first time).- Was this review helpful to you?

I LIKED it!

It is probably one the few ScFi movies that ever really had substance - the notion that someone other than ourselves has done all that we dream, lived, died and moved on, leaving a legacy.
Moving back to Earth, it is also a well directed movie, with credible actors and a sensible plot - I especially liked the time where Jackson interprets the friendly signals correctly and changes the situation around - no matter what your IQ, it's unlikely you could have stopped that.- Was this review helpful to you?

Original Storyline, Fun Sci-Fi, Great Movie !!
By Zydor (147 reviews) from Headley Down , 12 Jul 2012The review title says it all. This is a movie suitable for all the family. The fighting element is restrained not gory, yet engaging and correctly positioned for the plotline.
Its fun Sci-Fi, and guess what, surprise, surprise, the evil despot is doomed - but you know that already, only the manner of its demise is in question, and for that you'll have to go watch it :)
Its Dune for the family, a classic rip roaring classic sci-fi tale of good guys and bad guys, well crafted, solid acting and rivers of feel good factor. Cant ask for more - go for it :)- Was this review helpful to you?
