Hurricane Irene forces One Tree Hill to shut down production

Production on TV drama One Tree Hill has shut down for the weekend (27-28Aug11) to allow the cast and crew to make arrangements as Hurricane Irene heads for North Carolina. The show, which shoots in Wilmington, ended production on on Thursday (25Aug11) and all weekend filming was cancelled in preparation for the storm, which is expected to lash America's east coast on Saturday (27Aug11).
