Fantastic
By 3girlsonfilm (145 reviews) from cambridge , 09 Apr 2005[Highly rated reviewer]
An odd combination of actors and actresses but they definitely gel well together. The story of friendship, love and the mother daughter relationship.
This story takes place mainly in one location, the hair salon. Shelby (Julia Roberts) is getting married and her mother (Sally Field) can't quite let her go. Her daughter is sick but she lives life to the full.
A wonderful girly film that is packed full of laughs. It will leave you with very wet eyes but also a smile on your face.- Was this review helpful to you?

one of many tear felt movies
By sweetlikechocolate (13 reviews) from Darlington, county durham , 17 Dec 2010Loved the cast, at times slow but compelling and heart felt. one of the best movies to see when you have broken up with your guy and want some friends over for a blub session. Another movie to see which might make you cry is A.I- Was this review helpful to you?
