MIDLER MAGIC AGAIN

wow! what a fantastic performance. what a fantastic film. those familiar with stella dallas and Barbara stanwych will agree tha although slightly different bette midler pulls this performance off well. Full of comic antics and very emotional moments. This film will make you laugh, cry, laugh hysterically and then reduce you to a blubbering wreck. For me it beats the pants off beeches for a thoroughly good rodeo ride through your emotional range. Classic one liners like 'she was doin well then she stubbed her toe' said in the true Bette Midler style of deep concern and indifference. What a movie, what do i want? i want a room full of balloons and this movie to watch over and over and over. First rate. ten stars- Was this review helpful to you?

Think they tried to cash in on the success of Beaches.
