Will Ferrell's latest comedy caper Step Brothers has gone straight to the top of the UK box office chart. The film – which stars Ferrell and John C Reilly as two immature men forced to share a room after their single parents marry – made £1.16 million during its first three days on release. Knocked Up writer/director Judd Apatow is to be named comedy person of the year - in a good way - at a new event coinciding with Montreal's Just For Laughs comedy festival, according to reports.
