tear jerking heartwarming movie

this film is based on the true story on a mothers love for her children. the ups and down of the storyline keep you hooked till the very end and the emotional scenes between a mother and her son leave youre bottom jaw shaking until the credits roll.- Was this review helpful to you?

Nicely told if predictable tear jerker

The new stepmom struggles to gain the love and respect of her new family, and her efforts are undermined by the 'real' mum. The turning point is perhaps a little weak, with quite a lot resting on stepmom's ability to draw a tree. But it is lifted by strong performances by the two female leads, and some moving set pieces. It brought a couple of tears to this 47 male, but no more.- Was this review helpful to you?
